Learn the WHY and the HOW of being a good neighbor.

Engaging the community is the secret sauce of FCS. Though it can sometimes be overlooked as a soft skill, community engagement strengthens and ultimately accelerates all of our other projects. Our work in historic South Atlanta wouldn't get very far without our relationships with our neighbors.

And while it may be true that being a good neighbor is more art than science, it's clear the world needs more of it. This course provides a basic introduction into the thought process and mechanics of community engagement that is intentional and scalable. It is a culmination of neighborliness we've learned here as well as lessons we've drawn from best practices in the field.

This hour-long course will lay out the basics, helping you understand, grow your confidence and intentions, and set your team up with common language and concepts to be a good neighbor. Ready to love your neighbor? Start here!
